Because shaving forces exfoliation of the skin, regular activity with a razor actually induces accelerated cell turnover and exposes underdeveloped cells. This action could quite possibly contribute to the problems many men face with their skin.
I'm sure that many can remember the initial rash, irritation and redness associated with shaving. In some cases the skin adapts quite quickly, but for some the fight against razor burn and ingrown hairs can last a lifetime if left unchecked.
Fortunately there are many shave products and techniques available today that can help with calming down red, tight, post shaved skin.
